Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy (born on the 17th of October 1992), is an Indian actress. She is a regular on screen in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. She was awarded the National Film Award for Best Actress in the role of the role of actress Savitri on the Telugu movie Mahanati (2018). In addition, she has received three SIIMA Awards and a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar's parents include filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar & actress Menaka G. Suresh. She began her career as a child performer at the beginning of 2000 and returned to films after studying fashion design. The first time she starred in a leading role was in 2013's Malayalam movie Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy began to work on films that weren't Malayalam in the year 2015. The actress also signed on to appear in several Tamil films simultaneously. Her first film release is A. A. Vijay's romantic comedic Idhu Enna Maayam (2015), opposite Vikram Prabhu, though the film was not a success in the theater. In order to accommodate bigger projects, due to her crazier schedule, she opted from a few films which she started to work on. The films included were Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye (a romantic comedy) and Deekay's Kavalaivendam. In a short time she also worked alongside Sivakarthikeyan in Rajini Murugan, Remo and she also acted as the lead on Prabhu Sool's Thodari with Dhanush. Her Telugu debut had been planned to be titled Ainaa Ishtam nuvvu. The film has been in the process of being delayed, and there are the possibility of release in September in 2020, under the different title, Janakitho Nunu. In the end, the film's debut was the 2016 film Nenu Sailaja with the actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy first appeared in Bairavaa with Vijay and directed by Bharathan. She has also appeared as a Tamil actress in Paambhu Sattai, and she was a Telugu actress in Nenu Local.
